Nominations for President

The President shall be a licensed Doctors of Chiropractic and may be elected to serve a maximum of two consecutive one year terms.  

Here are the duties of the President - 

  • As stated in the Bylaws the President shall conduct all meetings of the Congress and the Board of Directors.
  • He/She shall appoint any and all committees, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors, within thirty days after his/her induction into office.
  • He/She shall be an ex-officio member of all committees and can cast the deciding vote in case of a tie.
  • He/She may appoint task forces at any time during the year.
  • He/She may appoint a Parliamentarian during the annual Congress meeting or during a Board of Directors meeting.
    • The Parliamentarian shall rule on all questions of order and appeals from a ruling of the chair.
    •  He/She shall be governed by Roberts’ Rules of Order, Revised in all cases not covered by the Bylaws.
  • It will be the responsibility of the President to see that all state organizations are advised of meetings and activities of the Congress.
  • Upon completion of his/her term(s), the President will serve as a voting member of the Board of Directors as the Immediate Past President.
