Qualifications:  The Executive Director at Large shall be actively employed by an Active Member state association and must have served at least 2 years as an ED for an Active Member. The Executive Director at large can serve a maximum of two consecutive one year terms. The Executive Director at Large must have a minimum of 2 years senior association management experience in the chiropractic profession and must be pre-approved to run by their state association.  While the association executives will caucus at the annual meeting and elect one member to represent them as a member of the Congress Board of Directors for the coming year, we are seeking Letters of Intent to serve at this time:  

Here are the duties of the Executive Director at Large:  

1) To act as a liaison between the Congress office and the association executives of all Congress member associations.

2) To provide input to the Congress board on all programs, policies, and decisions from the unique perspective of an association executive.

3) To coordinate a telephone conference of the association executives to discuss matters of common interest and concern.

4) To promote the goals and objectives of the Congress to association executives, field questions from members, and bring ideas and issues of concern back to the Board of Directors.

5) To actively recruit new Congress members.

6) To serve on the Convention Committee and encourage all association executives to attend convention.

7) To perform other duties as assigned by the President or Executive Committee.
