Nominations for District Director

District Directors may be elected to serve a maximum of three consecutive two year terms.

Here are the duties of a District Director:   

1) To act as a liaison between the Congress office and the members of their respective district.

2) To coordinate a regional meeting (face to face preferred, but telephone conference or any other electronic form will suffice) of the organizations in their district.

3) To promote the goals and objectives of the Congress to association leaders in their district, field questions from members, and bring ideas and issues of concern back to the Board of Directors.

4) To assist with keeping the Congress database for their district updated.

5) To actively recruit new Congress members from their district.

6) To recruit attendance at convention from the members in their district.

7) To perform other duties as assigned by the President or Executive Committee.

You must be a member of DISTRICT ONE: Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont or Washington DC to nominate an individual for the District 1 Director position.  The nominee must be a member in good standing with their respective state association to serve.  The state association must be a COCSA member in good standing.    

You must be a member of DISTRICT THREE:  Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missisippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, US Virgin Islands, or West Virginia to nominate an individual for the District 3 Director position.  The nominee must be a member in good standing with their respective state association to serve.  The state association must be a COCSA member in good standing.

You must be a member of DISTRICT FIVE:  Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, or Washington to nominate an individual for the District 5 Director position.  The nominee must be a member in good standing with their respective state association to serve.  The state association must be a COCSA member in good standing.
