The Kentucky Association of Chiropractors (KAC), after recently celebrating their 100 year anniversary, has the honor of achieving the first goal of its 5 year Strategic Plan by the hiring of Dr. Nick Payne as the new full time Executive Director.

Dr. Nick Payne is a 2nd generation chiropractor who graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2003 and has practiced in Florence, KY for 14 years.  In addition to working as the part time Executive Director for the KAC for the past 6 years, Dr. Payne has served in elected positions as the 2nd Vice President, and Executive Secretary.  He has also served on many committees including Insurance Relations and Government Services, as well as served as the Medicare Liaison for Kentucky for many years.  Dr. Payne has spoken at numerous seminars across the country teaching on a wide variety of topics including Medicare documentation, coding, and compliance just to name a few.

Having the opportunity to hire someone with this unique combination of skills that include both a knowledge of directing a large association and chiropractic provides the KAC and its members with a distinct advantage.  Whether we are talking about discussions with insurers, legislators, employers about promoting and advancing chiropractic, or talking to members about issues they are having in their individual offices, Dr. Payne has the experience and ability to communicate from multiple perspectives.

Dr. Adam Rogers, President of the KAC quoted “It is such a great pleasure as the KAC moves into our second century with someone as knowledgeable, caring, and giving of his time and resources as Dr. Payne. His drive, determination, and passion for not only the growth of the KAC but the profession makes the hiring of Dr. Payne as our full time Executive Director a very exciting time in Kentucky.”
