National Board of Chiropractic Examiners Supports Foundation for Chiropractic Progress with Significant Donation

CARMICHAEL, Calif. – July 20, 2015 – The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP) is pleased to announce that the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE), the principal testing agency for the chiropractic profession, has contributed $10,000 in support of F4CP initiatives to increase awareness among those eligible to attend a chiropractic college.   With the recent $10,000 contribution, NBCE contributions have reached $27,500.

“We are proud to endorse the F4CP and its many initiatives to promote positive awareness of chiropractic care by targeting future students through various social media campaigns,” says Donna Craft, DC, president, NBCE. “We hope to increase the number of students who will choose to pursue a career in chiropractic.  Past efforts of the F4CP in building public awareness demonstrate that the NBCE’s contribution will be wisely used.”

Established in 1963, the NBCE is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is, “Ensuring professional competency through excellence in testing.”  The NBCE develops, administers and scores standardized exams that assess knowledge, higher-level cognitive abilities and problem-solving in various basic science and clinical science subjects. Today, all 50 states and the District of Columbia accept or require NBCE exams.

Kent S. Greenawalt, chairman of the F4CP, expresses his appreciation for the support of the NBCE, stating, “Both the F4CP and NBCE are committed to securing the future of chiropractic, and we are sincerely grateful for their continued dedication to our organization.” He continues, “The F4CP looks forward to working alongside our partners in continuing to advance the profession.”
